I have to say that these rooms are large and great, grand deluxe was very luxurious too. I really enjoyed my previous stays here. However, I am here writing this on my first night of three nights and I booked superior rooms this time to see the āvalueā as they were available. Mind you these are still almost ~USD135 per night. To my sad realisation upon checking in very late at midnight, i do not get an upgrade, but this is ok as I do not get it all the time, maybe makes me appreciate more for the times that I do get upgraded. FYI Iām one night away from achieving Accor Gold status. Onto the superior rooms then. Small, old, smelly, dated. Bathroom with cracked and stained tiles. This is USD50/night quality. Did I really pay ~USD400 for 3 nights for this room? The moment the lift doors open, I know clearly that these floors do not get treated the same way as the floors for deluxe and grand deluxe. Itās like they donāt care to maintain the superior rooms?? The deluxe is only about ~USD30 more. Why the stark difference? Because of this, I may choose another hotel the next time Iām in Jakarta. Literally everywhere in the hotel we were always greeted warmly with a huge smile and such fantastic service. Especially Irvan at the front desk was so helpful and accomodating. He went the extra mile to help us when we checked in to upgrade our room and again when we checked out. He had been to New Zealand and chatted about his experience there. The check-in process was smooth & fast. Sana Sini restaurant for breakfast was fantastic, the food was authentic great variety & the staff was amazing. Thanks for looking after my mom, my partner and I, especially on Sunday 4 June. The Back Room lounge is epic to hang out and served a cocktail bowl which was amazing. HK team Fauzan was very accommodating, tidy, fast and neat. Every time we came back to the room, it always smell very fragrant.
